Lanna Burns is the operational backbone of Basilisk Partners, serving as Chief Operating Officer, founding partner, and the force that holds the firm’s infrastructure together. With a background spanning real estate, construction, finance, and corporate retreat & event planning, she leads with structure, clarity, and an unshakable commitment to precise execution.

Lanna holds a degree in Hospitality Management from the University of North Texas and brings a rare blend of service-driven leadership and operational discipline. She is a licensed real estate agent with a successful track record across both residential and commercial markets, known for navigating complex deals and building trust-driven client relationships. Her time at a leading construction firm refined her understanding of the labor, logistics, and core operational mechanics that drive success in the construction sector, expertise she now applies to both client strategy and internal systems.

As COO, Lanna oversees day-to-day operations, backend systems, and delivery infrastructure at Basilisk Partners. She leads the firm’s Real Estate Recruitment vertical and plays a key strategic role in supporting the Construction Recruitment team, ensuring every engagement is aligned, efficient, and positioned for long-term value. She also spearheads the firm’s Corporate Retreat & Event Planning division, designing high-touch, brand-aligned experiences for leadership teams and national organizations.

With her background in construction operations and back-office finance strategy, Lanna bridges vision and detail, keeping structure, execution, and momentum in lockstep.
